About Us

Pink Raven celebrates Sicilian craftsmanship and local artistry through pottery, tapestries, and contemporary works rich in symbolism.

Pink Raven Gallery

Our Vision

Nestled in the heart of Savannah’s Victorian District, Pink Raven celebrates the vibrant spirit of Sicily—its colors, its craft, its mythology, and its enduring artistic traditions.
We curate a blend of imported, handcrafted Sicilian pottery and tapestry, alongside works by emerging painters from Sicily and talented local artists from SCAD.
But the Pink Raven isn’t a traditional gallery where visitors simply browse.
Here, art is an experience.

We invite our guests to slow down, to listen, and to look more deeply:

  • to discover the centuries-old methods behind hand-thrown ceramics
  • to feel the stories woven into Sicilian tapestry and fine fabrics
  • to explore the layered meanings within each brushstroke and composition

Every piece has a history, a voice, and a lineage. Our mission is to share that lineage, bridging ancient craftsmanship with contemporary expression.

Why This Symbol?

In the Mediterranean imagination and most profoundly in Sicily, the raven is far more than a bird.
It is a messenger, a guide, and a keeper of mysteries.

On Sicilian soil, shaped by Greek, Arab, Norman, and Spanish influence, the raven symbolizes passage and renewal.
It moves effortlessly between worlds:

Unordered list

  • light and shadow
  • life and death
  • ignorance and knowledge
  • night and day

It is the creature that crosses thresholds, carrying stories, secrets, and transformation from one realm to the next.

Pink Raven embraces this symbolism.
Our gallery exists to open doors, welcoming visitors into the deeper world of artistry, symbolism, and craft. We believe that paintings, ceramics, and textiles are vessels: simple materials transformed by human hands into objects of meaning, memory, and wonder.

Through our curated exhibitions and imports, we seek to preserve tradition, uplift emerging voices, and share the enduring beauty of Sicilian art with our Savannah community and beyond.
